DEX360
On average, installation takes 90-120 minutes.
Yes, multiple users can access the app and review the status of trailer(s).
Yes, if a user has an LTE subscription, it is possible to see the live location of an asset.
DEX360 is considered a “self-learning system” as the tire sensors communicate via Bluetooth to the module with auto learn technology. After tires are rotated or new tires are added, the user will drive the trailer unit at 25 mph for 15 minutes to auto-learn the TPMS wheel positions automatically.
Yes, DEX360 is compatible with both sprung and Torflex axles.
Yes, the system is compatible with dual wheel applications; single, tandem, and triple axles. Important note: typically, dual wheel applications use band sensors.
The DEX360 currently offers three sensors: two valve stem bolt-in style sensors (058-040-00 and 058-040-01) and one band sensor (o58-041-00). The choice of valve stem sensor depends on the tire’s pressure rating and the diameter of the valve stem hole.
- Dexter part number 058-040-00: bolt-in style, hole diameter .453”, max pressure 80 psi, automotive style nut.
- Dexter part number 058-040-01: bolt-in style, hole diameter .625”, max pressure 200 psi.
- Dexter part number 058-039-00: band sensor, primarily used on dual-wheel trailers
Note: if neither the 058-040-00 nor 058-040-01 sensors works for your single wheel application, band sensors can be used on single-wheel trailers as well if the trailer owner chooses.
The DEX360 Smart Trailer System is the most innovative and comprehensive solution on the market, combining six advanced monitoring technologies into a single, easy-to-use app. While other systems may offer TPMS or GPS tracking individually, only DEX360 delivers the full suite of integrated features in one powerful platform.
For the real-time data like GPS tracking, alerts, geofencing, tire pressure/tire temperature, battery monitoring, and virtual odometer, a monthly subscription fee is required.
You may still be able to install the system hardware and use basic local features (i.e. Bluetooth connectivity directly to your phone). Still, the remote and cloud connected services depend on the subscription to function.
Dexter offers two paid DEX360 subscription tiers
- Pro Plan (LTE): end customer monthly subscription rate $7.99: features; battery monitoring, virtual odometer, TPMS, tire temperature, CarPlay, Android Auto, stolen trailer recovery, web portal – app features, drop anchor
- Elite Plan (LTE): end customer monthly subscription rate $9.99 : features: battery monitoring, virtual odometer, TPMS, tire temperature, CarPlay, Android Auto, stolen trailer recovery, web portal – app features, drop anchor, GPS tracking, trip history.
Subscription plans can be billed monthly or yearly. You can choose either option.
Dexter provides the first 90 days of the DEX360 app subscription at no charge. Billing will not start until the initial 90 days have passed.
End customers (trailer owners) download the DEX360 app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. DEX360 is compatible with both iPhone and Android
- Download the Dexter app
- Create an account
- Scan the QR code on the DEX102 telematics device
- Register your trailer and drive to set up the system
- The trailer must be driven over 25 mph for 15 minutes to auto-learn the TPMS tire positions
Drive worry free!
Yes, the DEX360 system is compatible with and utilizes CarPlay and Android Auto.
The kit contents may vary slightly based on the number of axles, wheel configuration (single or dual), and harness length requirement. Kits typically contain an antenna (for tandem and triple axel trailers), TPMS rear axle module, TPMS can module, a DEX102 telematics device, two harnesses, antenna spacers, attaching hardware, installation instructions, and a component schematic sheet.
Dual wheel trailers will have an additional dual wheel module.
TPMS sensors do not come with the kit and are ordered separately.
