JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Data Quality Intern to support customer data quality and validation efforts within our Master Data Management (MDM) environment.
This role is ideal for a student interested in working with real-world business data, improving data accuracy, and understanding how data supports reporting, sales operations, and decision-making.
The intern will work within our data management system (Pimcore) to review and validate customer records, helping ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
In this internship, you will:
- Review system-identified duplicate customer records and validate whether they should be merged or kept separate
- Identify and flag obvious data inconsistencies (e.g., mismatched names, addresses, or entities across systems)
- Support validation of customer hierarchies
- Assist with classification of customer records
- Support post-go-live data cleanup and validation efforts within the MDM system
- Follow defined rules and processes to ensure consistency in data decisions
- Document findings and escalate unclear or complex cases for review
Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION
You must be actively enrolled in an accredited university working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in:
- Business Analytics
- Business Information Systems (BIS)
- Data Analytics
- Information Systems
- Or a related field
Preferred Profile
- Students interested in working at the intersection of data and business processes
- Comfortable working through data validation and detail-oriented tasks
- Interest in how data supports reporting, operations, and decision-making
