manufacturing facility located in Calgary Alberta.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for the welding of axle seats and assembly of axles at our Calgary location.
This position also has warehouse responsibilities, shipping and receiving as required.
Maintain and use the proper tools to meet the specific job requirement.
Cut all materials and fabricate components to exact design specifications.
Ensure timelines are met and jobs are complete on time.
Housekeeping.
Respect the Health and Safety procedures and rules in place
Read, understand, and follow all Safe Work Practices and Procedures for machinery and equipment.
Identify
and stock merchandise at the indicated location;
Box,
package and display merchandise according to procedures and standards;
Prepare
all orders for shipment;
Place
and organize merchandise in trucks for delivery to customers;
Record
and report any shortages or damaged items;
Operate
necessary machinery (e.g. forklift);
Have
to do cyclical inventory counts (occasionally);
Other
related tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Journeyman or Apprentice Welding (Alberta or Inter-Provincial).
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Mechanical knowledge.
Use and maintenance of air tools and wrenches.
Knowledge and experience in forklift operations.
Ability to set up, use and maintain cut off saw, cutting torch, and both
“Mig and Stick” welding machines.
Previous
warehouse experience of at least one (1) year (asset);
Forklift
operator's certificate (asset);
Physical
stamina, manual dexterity and ability to lift loads up to 20kg;
Team
spirit, versatility, autonomy and attention to detail;
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills;
Willingness
and ability to work overtime and weekends, as required.
Permanent, full-time position;
Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
