housing markets has an opportunity for a Senior Controls and IoT Engineer at our
manufacturing facility located in Elkhart, Indiana.

Responsible for leading the team in charge of designing the Graphic User Interface of a software mobile App, a software Web App, and a Heads-Up Display using the ESP32 family of microcontrollers.
Responsible for aligning hardware and software design requirements with user expectations and project budget.
Lead the team in charge of defining the Smart Trailer mobile App specifications, describing its interoperability with other hardware and software entities, standardizing the communication with telematics devices, and integration with other systems to offer a cohesive product to customers, OEMs, and dealers.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of engineers, solving technical problems and contributing ideas to design and develop new products that result in sales and revenue.
Lead the team in charge of monitoring all the Engineering change requests that are submitted as part of the Engineering Change Management process in Dexter.
Responsible for activities to certify a Heads-Up Display with the Federal Communications Commission, complying with the standard of electromagnetic interference allowed from digital and electronic devices.
Manage developing software prototypes based on functional requirements, including multiple data sources, in compliance with data access, standards, and wireless connection requirements.
Control the expansion, improvements, updates, and support of the Dexter Engineering information systems (Engineering Change Notice, First Article Inspection, Capital Management, Lab Test Request, Materials Deviations, and New Product Development system, among others).
Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
Train users to work with computer systems and programs used daily. The position is an individual contributor role.
The position does not have direct reports and is not a managerial-level position within the company hierarchy. The position collaborates with other employees and teams but does not supervise employees.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.
Must also have each of the following:
1) 5 years of experience with developing, configuring, upgrading, migrating, supporting, and maintaining software solutions using Microsoft SharePoint (both On-Premises and Online versions), its Content Management System (CMS), Workflow, and Search Engine capabilities;
2) 5 years of experience working as Systems Analyst and working on complex software projects using the Software Development Lifecycle process (analysis, design, implementation, test, release, and maintenance);
3) Demonstrated experience working with Graphic User Interface design for web applications and mobile applications using Power FX and designing and implementing at least three information systems in an organization;
4) Demonstrated experience with database management and analysis using various software systems and applications, programming languages, and coding skills to develop customized solutions and troubleshoot technical issues; and
5) Demonstrated experience enhancing efficiency and productivity of an organization's operations and saving costs and optimizing resource allocation through technological improvements.
