housing markets has an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our
manufacturing facility located in Bristol, IN.

Responsible for providing direction to their specific department to ensure correct levels of direct and indirect labor is maintained. Provides direction to ensure efficiency is maintained in the production schedule. Provides support in the coordination of activities related to the Company’s quality, safety, and production.
- Conduct daily Layered Audits to ensure safe work practices, encourage process standardization, reduce errors, scrap, and waste, improve quality and customer satisfaction, and reinforce updated processes steps.
- Ensure full compliance with PPE requirements and in following all safety protocols. Foster a culture of safety within the team and work daily to communicate this message.
- Supports Quality Management System compliance and assists quality department in all audits and areas for improvement. Works to identify potential issues and remediates any possible quality concerns.
- Reviews and monitors End of Line KPI Board daily for thoroughness and completion.
- Ensures that daily documentation of scrapped product is completed and submitted by group leads.
Reviews attendance status and reports changes or concerns to HR.
- Identifies manpower needs and adjusts based on demand. Assists with interviewing process for new employees and evaluates current employees for advancement, improvements, and training opportunities.
- Conducts employee reviews as scheduled.
- Supports scheduling activities and works with customer service and sales to make sure that customer needs are being met in a timely fashion.
- Monitors proper material usage through regular reviews of material being consumed against schedule. Work with the material department in identifying problem areas and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of MRP systems and in modules that are necessary for daily production requirements.
- Fosters open, two-way, communication among team and with other departments. Works to make sure all areas of the plant are staffed equally where possible by shifting headcount to other departments and requesting assistance if needed.
- Identify and eliminate scrap and waste. Monitors usage and documentation as well as looking for opportunities for improvement within the department.
- Identify projects for improvement and involve plant manager and related support functions to assist in project development.
- Ensure that job instruction training, including JHA, WHA, and training logs are being completed by group leads.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises the Production Supervisor in that
department, along with the hourly employees that report to the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION:
Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or an equivalent in combination of education and experience.
