As the Vice President of Marketing at Dexter Group, you will lead our marketing department for our US and Canadian business, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth across our diverse markets, including utility trailers, recreational vehicles, heavy-duty trailers, marine, and manufactured housing.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
· Develop and implement cohesive marketing plans aligned with Dexter Group's business objectives across US and Canada.
· Set current and long-term goals for the marketing team, ensuring alignment with company vision and market trends.
· Design and manage the marketing department’s budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
Brand Management:
· Oversee brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation.
· Build and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders through effective public relations strategies.
Campaign Development and Execution:
· Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, and events.
· Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Team Leadership and Development:
· Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
· Identify hiring needs and participate in the recruitment process to build a high-performing marketing team.
· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
Market Analysis and Growth Opportunities:
· Conduct market analyses to identify challenges and opportunities for growth, adapting strategies accordingly.
· Stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration and Reporting:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
· Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics and outcomes for the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Team

· Success in identifying and capturing new market opportunities across US and Canada.
· Expansion and deepening of customer relationships in existing markets.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
· MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Work Experience:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in senior marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
· Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies in manufacturing, automotive, or related industries.
· Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, events, and public relations.
· Demonstrated ability to drive brand growth and customer engagement through innovative strategies.
