housing markets has an opportunity for a Quality Manager at our
manufacturing facility located in Plant City, FL.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Manages the quality management system
that meet customer expectations 100% of the time in a continuous improvement
environment.
Drives root cause analysis and corrective actions to permanently resolve
quality issues.
Works with suppliers to improve product quality and prevent receipt of
nonconforming parts.
Performs internal audits to gauge compliance to the quality management system
requirements.
Collaborates with Engineering and Production to address any quality concerns.
Monitors quality performance and prepares management reports on a regular
basis.
Performs statistical data analysis to determine process capabilities to meet
specifications.
Manages the gage calibration program, inspection activities and product
testing.
Responsible for the quality policy implementation, control of documents and
quality records.
Mentors and directs the quality team on their daily activities and communicate
quality concerns.
Demonstrates hands on mechanical capabilities, problem solving, leadership,
conflict management, and team building skills in productive team environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Quality experience; or an equivalent
in combination of education and experience. Qualified candidate will
have experience in manufacturing operations, assembly, and test suspension
products.
Experience working in organizational culture that
employs Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, Kaizen, or other lean
manufacturing methodologies. ISO or TS experience highly desirable
Willingness to work flexible
shifts and extended hours as necessary to support production needs
Exceptional problem solving and
decision-making abilities, including the application of statistical
process control to manufacturing processes (e.g., control charts, gage
R&R studies, etc.)
Excellent communication skills
(verbal and written).
Ability to use basic hand and
measurement tools
Computer literate (MS Office,
database, and statistical software)
Must have a can-do attitude
combined with a high energy level
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or associate Degree in relevant field including Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or comparable discipline.
