Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled ERP System Administrator to oversee and maintain our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and functionality of ERP item masters and bills of material (BOM), develop and update product configurators, and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests to support various departments. This is a remote position, offering flexibility while requiring effective virtual collaboration and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP System Maintenance:
- Manage and update ERP item master’s to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Create, modify, and maintain bills of material (BOM) within the ERP system.
- Product Configurator Development:
- Develop new product configurators to meet business requirements.
- Update and optimize existing configurators to reflect product changes or process improvements.
- Ad Hoc Reporting:
- Generate and deliver timely, accurate reports based on department-specific needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements and ensure data relevance.
- System Optimization and Support:
- Identify and resolve issues within the ERP system to maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement system updates or improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between departments to align ERP functionalities with business processes.
- Provide training or guidance to team members on ERP-related tasks and best practices.
- Remote Collaboration:
- Leverage virtual tools and platforms to communicate effectively with team members across departments.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and responsiveness in a remote work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong understanding of item masters, bills of material, and product configurators.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or BI tools).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in virtual settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing or product-based industries.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation for ERP systems.
- Knowledge of business process mapping and improvement.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, for creating or enhancing SaaS-related tools or user interfaces.
Working Conditions:
This is a fully remote position, requiring access to a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. Occasional extended hours may be required during critical updates or projects.
