JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides engineering support for advanced product development, with a focus on electrical systems in axle and brake technology. Ensures functionality, quality, cost-efficiency, and timely completion within assigned projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing electrical system designs in accordance with project timelines and budget.
- Identify and communicate resource challenges or issues that may impact schedules or budgets.
- Assess design and process risks, ensuring thorough analysis and reporting to Engineering Management.
- Support manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate interpretation of electrical and electronic design specifications.
- Interface with engineering teams and customers to determine needs and solutions.
- Aid in defining, planning, and documenting testing requirements for electrical components.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced Product Engineers within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical background, including proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering labs and teams to execute validation and testing processes.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with high-voltage battery systems is a plus.
