JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for developing validation and diagnostic systems for advanced product development in axle and brake technology, ensuring rigorous testing, reliability, and diagnostic capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans, including Design Validation Plans (DVPs) and related tests.
- Collaborate with software teams to implement diagnostic systems and integrate troubleshooting protocols.
- Provide technical support to customers, facilitating seamless integration and troubleshooting of advanced diagnostic and safety systems.
- Partner with labs and other engineering functions to ensure all tests meet project requirements and high standards for accuracy.
- Maintain updated documentation for validation testing and support project teams with technical insights.
- Functional safety experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or comparable discipline, with at least 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in testing, validation processes, and diagnostic implementation.
- Detail-oriented, with proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams.
- Familiarity with safety standards in automotive applications is a plus (though specific certifications are not required).
